We are committed to making our science open. We led the development of the Simon Fraser University Open Science and Scholarship Principles, and we uphold these guiding principles through the following practices:  

• Share reproducible pipelines and code  

• Share data and derivatives when ethically and legally possible 

• Complete project reviews to ensure adherence to FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles 

• Publish preprints prior to formal publication 

• Acknowledge and credit the contributions and ideas of others in our work 

• Openly share training materials & curricula 

• Committed to increasing public engagement in research
